|#SavetheKids - Helping Teens Rise Above Social Media Negativity
#Savethekids is a non-profit started by Social Activist Collin Kartchner to help teens and families rise above the negative affects of social media and screen-addiction. Collin speaks to schools, colleges, and communities across the nation, helping parents reconnect with their kids and fight for their mental health.
Collin Kartchner is a youth advocate touring the country to bring awareness to parents and kids on the harmful effects of social media, too much screen time and raising kids in a technology-driven society. We are inviting all parents, no matter how young or old their children are, to attend a FREE parent night to hear Collin speak. Collin will be doing assemblies at Elk Ridge Middle, South Jordan Middle, and Bingham High School. He doesn't speak at elementary schools because he believes that it starts in the home, with the parents of younger kids. The parent night will be at Bingham High School at 7 PM on Monday, March 4th. We're hoping to get your help to get the word out about this very informative and important night. If possible, can you please send the attached flyer out to all of your parents and, if you would like, you are welcome to print the flyer to post in your schools. We would be grateful if you could help us get the word out so we can have as many parents of our young kids attend as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions about this event.
